Hardware Development

Some of my hardware projects for clients include

• A Raspberry Pi camera box for monitoring road defects
• A LoRa battery sensor to be used with Thingsboard
• Fully-custom built GPS tracker, PCB designed with KiCAD (this was for work experience)
• ESP32 asset tracking device

I am familiar with almost the full stack of hardware development, from components to chassis design. Concepts such as

• Low level embedded programming - interrupts, timers, clocks
• PCB design
• 3D modelling and 3D printing
• Laser cutting
• SMD soldering

I have worked on a few personal projects, such as a Raspberry Pi powered Internet radio alarm clock, a telepresence robot, and recently a physical virtual pet (Tamagotchi alternative)
